Parents like to know what their kids do during the day. This is our opportunity to list and describe the different activities we provide.

Schedule:

7:00 - 8:30 arrival00

8:30 - 9:00 breakfast

9:00 - 10:00 freeplay

10:00 - 10:45 outdoor play

10:45- 11:00 snack

11:00 - 11:30 structured activities

11:30 - 12:00 Lunch

12:00 - 2:30 Naptime

2:30 - 3:00 washup/bathroom/diaper changes/ snack time

3:00 - 4:00 free play

Children learn about the world primarily through play. Having the right toys and activities allows children the chance to figure out how the real world works in a safe environment. Preschool should primarily be about play, socialization and independence. I will not have "gender type" toys or toys without a purpose.

I use creative curriculum for my physical and curriculum planning. Creative curriculum is used in many preschools in Hawaii. The physical setting is setup "Center" style. Meaning there will be a home, manipulative, writing, art, science and quiet corner for your children to explore and learn. I do encourage children to stay until kindergarten but if your goal is preschool children will know what to do when and if it's time for them to graduate daycare.

Preschool is not a necessary evil. Preschools in Hawaii are full and waitlisted. I'm offering a viable alternative to the overpopulated world of the preschool setting.

Children will receive more individualized attention and allows children to come into their own much faster.
